TintGel™ for Dot Matrix Window Film | SOYAFILM

TintGel™ - Dot Matrix fix

TINTGEL™  |  DOT MATRIX FINISH

A smoother finish over dot matrix

TintGel™ fills the black dotted area and helps the window film lie evenly against the glass.

The transparent gel helps prevent the light air gap that can otherwise appear over the dot matrix while reducing the risk of edge lift. A small detail that can make a big difference to the overall finish.

PROFESSIONAL FINISH

TintGel™

A smoother result.
Cleaner edges.
A less visible air gap.

Transparent finish over dot matrix

Water-soluble and odourless

For all types of window film

A smoother dot matrix

Fills the dotted area so the window film achieves a smoother, more uniform finish.

Reduced risk of edge lift

Forms a transparent bond that helps keep the film in place along edges and corners.

Universal use

Suitable for removable window film and professional window film, regardless of brand.

Easy to remove

Dissolves with lukewarm water and a cloth, even after the gel has been dry for a long time.

THE DETAIL THAT DEFINES THE RESULT

Eliminate the light edge around the dots

The dot matrix is the black dotted area often found around the edges of automotive glass. Because the dots are raised, the window film may not sit completely flush against the glass. This often creates a light or whitish air gap that interrupts an otherwise clean finish.

1. Fills uneven areas

A thin layer of TintGel™ is applied directly to the clean, dry dot matrix area.

2. Activates during installation

The installation solution softens the gel so the film can be positioned and squeegeed into place.

3. Sets transparent

TintGel™ fills the area and forms a transparent barrier without the distracting air gap.

ON THE DOT MATRIX

For a smoother, more uniform finish

Apply TintGel™ across the entire dotted area before installing the window film. The gel fills the spaces around the dots and helps create a smoother visual edge.

Apply a thin, even layer. A small bristle brush or similar tool works well. Brush not included.

ON REMOVABLE WINDOW FILM

Extra support along the film edges

For removable window film, TintGel™ can also be applied along the outer edges before installation.

One product. Multiple uses.

TintGel™ works with both removable and professional window films from any manufacturer.

INSTALLATION · STEP BY STEP

How to apply TintGel™

Work methodically and allow enough time for each stage. The correct temperature, perfectly clean glass and light pressure over the dot matrix are essential for the result.

Open the full guide  →

1Avoid direct sunlight

Do not apply TintGel™ in direct sunlight.

2Check the temperature

The temperature must be at least +15 °C.

3Clean the glass thoroughly

Clean the entire glass particularly thoroughly, especially the dot matrix area.

4Allow the glass to dry completely

Wait until the entire glass is completely dry, particularly around the dot matrix.

5Apply a thin layer

Use a bristle brush to spread TintGel™ thinly and evenly across the entire dot matrix area.

6Allow to dry for approximately 15 minutes

Wait approximately 15 minutes before continuing with the window film installation.

7Install the film using light pressure

Spray the glass with installation solution and position the window film. Use overlapping squeegee strokes, but reduce the pressure significantly when passing over the dot matrix.

8Leave the result to dry undisturbed

Allow the window film and TintGel™ as much time as needed to dry. Do not press the dot matrix area while it is drying.

Important in step 7: The installation solution softens and activates TintGel™. Once installation is complete, the gel sets, fills the spaces and forms a transparent barrier without an air gap over the dot matrix.

CLEANING

Dissolves with lukewarm water

If TintGel™ needs to be removed, it can be dissolved with lukewarm water and a cloth, even after it has been dry for a long time. The gel is odourless, water-soluble and contains no hazardous chemicals.
